Tassels are made from mane hair and can be anywhere from 3 to 5 inches in length depending on the length of the mane hair being used. The top loop of the tassel is made from a horsehair braid. The round ball at the top of the tassel is covered with horsehair using a technique called needle knots.

White tassel body with a black and white stripe top. This examples has a Saddle Clip.

This all black tassel is very full and long. Normally mane hair is not this long.

Size: Tassel 6 inches - Ring 1/2 inch

This tassel was made entirely from tail hair. No mane hair was available. The tassel is not as soft because tail hair is coarser then mane hair.

Size: Tassel 5 inches - Ring 1/2 inch
